The Story of the Catrina
The Catrina is one of the figures most closely associated with Día de Muertos and with Mexico around the world.
Created by Mexican painter, illustrator and caricaturist José Guadalupe Posada, the skeletal figure has become an iconic representation of Mexican culture and one of the symbols most associated with the celebration of Día de Muertos.
At Haven, Catrinas take centre stage as part of a celebration filled with colour, creativity, tradition and entertainment.
